ผลงานเล่มนี้เป็นหนังสือรวมบทความ มีบรรณาธิการที่เป็นศาสตราจารย์ด้านการจัดการจากออสเตรเลีย 2 ท่าน คือ G.C. Avery (Macquarie University) และ H. Bergsteiner (Australian CatholicUniversity) ภายในเล่มประกอบด้วย 15 บทความ 293 หน้า โดยบทที่สำคัญที่สุด คือ บทที่ 3 (TheSufficiency Economy Philosophy Process) ผู้เขียนได้เสนอ “โมเดลพื้นฐาน” (basic model) เพื่อทำให้แนวคิด SEP มีความชัดเจนมากยิ่งขึ้น (Bergsteiner & Dharmapiya, 2016: Ch. กล่าวคือ: 1)แนวคิด SEP จะต้องเริ่มต้นด้วย 2 เงื่อนไข (คุณธรรม และความรู้) 2) SEP เป็นแนวคิดเชิงปทัฏฐาน(normative thinking) ดังนั้น “คุณธรรม” จะต้องมาก่อน “ความรู้” 3) ห่วงทั้ง 3 (พอประมาณ มีเหตุผล และมีภูมิคุ้มกัน) มีลักษณะเป็น “ปัญญา” (wisdom) ซึ่งจะเกิดหลัง “ความรู้” 4) แนวคิด SEPซึ่งเป็นนามธรรม ดังนั้นจึงไม่อาจจบลงด้วยตัวมันเองได้ แต่ควรจะเชื่อมโยงต่อไปยัง “การกระทำ”
